You know you're desperate when...

you start hula hooping in the snow! As the girls walked out the door for school this morning, the flakes were yet again falling. Inches of snow had begun to collect during this, the quiet part of the storm we are expecting in full tonight. I just got off the phone with a friend who said, "Oh, we're only supposed to get nine inches." It's as if we have become immune to snow. Nine inches is no big deal and hula hooping in the snow has become a perfectly normal pass time. Perhaps tomorrow we'll bring out the water balloons and s'mores.
